Meruri Streams: 27 Apr to 03 May 2026

Many things this week! This is going to be a long post, sorry!

TL;DR Many streams across several games (Arknights, FFXIV, Diablo IV) this week and next few months, clarification for where I stream (Arknights is Youtube only, Co-Work on Twitch, rest is multi-stream) and apologies for confusing notifications and titles when multi-stream.

First, the schedule.

FFXIV’s new patch 7.5 is releasing this week so I’ll be playing some new content together with friends first. The Arknight’s event S-Stages are in so I’ll be tackling that as well. Stronghold Protocol streams will have to be scheduled for next week instead.

Actually, I’ll slowly get back into more FFXIV because the news coming out from the Fanfest makes me hopeful for its future. So I’ll be playing more of it over the span of next eight months or so.

Diablo IV’s new expansion just launched as well which is why I rushed to complete Vessel of Hatred’s story (it was very fast because my partner carried me hahaha), but I don’t plan to schedule it in. I’ll just surprise stream and play that together with my partner if/when I have the time and energy during the flexible or free slots.

There’s actually Where Winds Meet map update too… but I’m sticking to only the weekly weekend raid for now (points to the busy schedule above). Like-wise, Endfield will not see much streams until I’m free from other games or it has new story tied to factory upgrade. Or if Contingency Contract is released.

The pain of being a variety gamer, sigh.

Next, regarding which platform I stream on.

Previously I planned to stick to Youtube only and that hasn’t changed for Arknights. And Co-Working is only on Twitch. But for FFXIV, Diablo IV and Where Winds Meet, I’ll stream them to both Twitch and Youtube since multi-streaming is an option that works out for me. As for new games, I think most likely I’ll multi-stream them too.

My main reason for streaming on Youtube has always been because it’s easier to keep the VODs this way, and now I have a community there. But at the same time, I do have people who would drop by when I go live on Twitch, and there are Twitch Drops for some of the games I play too. I would rather not drive myself crazy battling the lack of continuity of a single game due to switching platforms, so the easiest thing is to stream to both.

With that said, I’m uploading a VOD of a Diablo IV stream I did on Twitch, for the sake of continuity….

Regarding confusion titles and notifications when multi-streaming.

Sometimes when I multi-stream, the game title or category or both will be wrong for either the notifications or even lasting through the stream. My apologies for that, I’m still trying to figure out how to get restream to update them properly. For now I don’t plan to check out alternatives since this is the only issue I have so far with restream.
