Version 0.82 patch is the huge one with Neo Tokyo, which is that amazingly beautiful and very high level area that was previously exclusive to the Japanese maple server. Version 0.83 patch is the one that brings Maple Trading System (MTS) to MapleSEA, which I’m a lot more interested in.

I am not very interested in it, but somebody took the trouble to discover something interesting. According to this ASF post, there are a total of 958 level 200 (max level) characters in MapleSEA. :O

Another huge patch from Asiasoft, and this one’s highlight is the Boss Balrog (i hear it’s a lower level boss) and Monster Carnival Season 2 (this I’m interested). This one has another long patch notes posted on the website. Surprisingly, the manual patch and client download is already available, although actual patching is tomorrow, a very early 2am to 8am.

That’s not the only nice thing out of this patch though it is definitely the cutest. I succumbed to the urged and bought one, lol. Now I have two adorable pets. Robo can be evolved but I like it better like this.
I only wish I have more time to play maple, now that my sisters got me playing Celestial Destroyer Online (aka Zhu Xian), lol. (Poor DOMO, when can I play you? ;_; )
First of all, I don’t have all the information. I just start this quest myself, and I’m posting to help myself remember what mobs to kill for what Piece of ‘something’. All these is directly copied/typed from what Chief Stan said.

Wee, new patch tomorrow! And it’s the Chinese New Year patch for the Ox year. The Christmas event things will be removed so no more pesky encyclopedia, yay! Lucky for me, I got the ‘frozen thrones’ for my two mains, many thanks to my wonderful Bootes playing colleague who bought the snowpieces for me. ^^ I was afraid I couldn’t get the amount in time, but no more worrying now!
I swear ASF is full of treasure sometimes. Or just plain helpful people with a lot of time and patience. I just found this topic with a truckload of information regarding Knights of Cygnus. I know I can probably find it all through google if I want to, but I’m lazy so I’m saving the link here first.

There was a patch yesterday for MapleSEA and Happyville has returned! Time to take a lot of screenshots! There’s also quite a few Christmas quests to do and I hope they are as fun as the Halloween ones (and hopefully not as buggy). There’s a new pet Crystal Rudolph, but I don’t like it as much as my dear Jr. Reaper. And its prettiful chat bubble design is back! It was missing since the last patch, and shows a normal chat bubble.
Found yet another interesting information from Asiasoft Forums, maple section. Not sure if it can be found at other places or not but I’m too lazy to search and I’ll post this here so that I know where to find it when I need it. Heh.
*Updated: A new Party Experience Distribution formula has been introduced to the server since patch version 0.86.

Just read an interesting post in Asiasoft Forums (formly known as Playpark forum, there is a new PPF now) about the map owning situation in MapleSEA. It seems to be quite accurate, but it’s kinda sad how selfish behavior such as this is considered common and even accepted.

Looks like Nexon America is taking action against a website because it has content that was originally encrypted data that was later decrypted by somebody called Fiel.
Interesting news, it’s the first time I’ve read that action is taken against fansite (with reason, just not too sure how reasonable). On one hand, as a gamer, the fansites are great help for finding out about things that I wouldn’t know otherwise, and the more information the better. On the other, if the data was created by me and encrypted for good reasons, I probably wouldn’t like it to be decrypted and for the info inside to be spread.
