What if, the Crystal Exarch was almost done draining the light from WoL when Emet-Selch shot him, but he didn’t faint and instead tried to throw himself into the rift immediately. He failed though, and instead threw himself back to Crystarium and turned himself AND the Crystal Tower into one massive Lightwarden.
