DN SEA, Collection Titles Guide (part 3), Lv 50 Patch

Some time in the past, if my fuzzy memory is correct, I promised to do a guide for any new Collection Titles in Dragon Nest SEA, especially for that particular one requiring hidden achievement. Now that they have arrived with the Level 50 patch, it’s time for me to do just that.

Sorry for the long delay, the past month has been a very busy one for me.

For quick reference, the Masterlist is good. This guide is to make it easier to search the titles because the Masterlist has issues with browser’s find function. I have also added more little tips and observations into this guide, hope they will be of more help.

Updates
  • Table of Content added for quicker navigation. Layout improved along with the new website theme. Should be easier on the eyes now.
  • Removing Abyss Dungeons achievement quest requirements due to an update in the 8th October 2013 game patch:

“All Calderock Village and Saint Haven’s [Abyss] dungeon mission can now be unlocked by entering the world zone (for example: Gray Ruins). Players no longer need to obtain or complete quests from Heraldry Scholar NPCs to unlock the achievements.”

  • ‘Dragon’s Descendant’ title verified, thanks goes to Anna88.
  • ‘It’s the Lag!’ title requirement verified and changed.

Huge Bags Under the Eyes

Under page 5 ‘Title of Darkness Ch. 1’

Description: Shuerpa of the Dark Boundaries, how strong can the title of the warriors be!

I was so caught up with the Boundary of Darkness that I have these dark circles now…
STR +20
AGI +20
INT +18
VIT +15
Attk Power +30 ~ +30
Magic Attk +30 ~ +30

From the LV 50 patch, this title requires completing Dark Lair achievements, stats are same as ‘Leadership of Society’ and ‘Speed Terminator’. Because of the ‘Breakthrough the atmosphere’ title, this is a challenging title to get at lower level 30s. With the Gigantes Nest patch which also introduced Dark Lair revamp, this title has become less tedious to get as Hatred Pirandello, now Pezadelo of Hatred 1st Floor, only has 20 rounds instead of 36.

Good news is those who completed the 36 round Hatred Pirandello don’t have to redo as the older version Delicious and Breakthrough the atmosphere titles still count.

Still an apprentice – Hatred Pirandello – Achieved when stage is cleared in 10 rounds

Delicious – Hatred Pirandello – (new version) Achieved when stage is cleared in 18 rounds
(old version) Achieved when stage is cleared in 20 rounds

Breakthrough the atmosphere – Hatred Pirandello – (new version) Achieved when stage is cleared in 19 rounds
Achieved when stage is cleared in 30 rounds

Cowardly – Boundary of Jealousy – Achieved when stage is cleared in 10 rounds

Mom’s friend’s son – Boundary of Jealousy – Achieved when stage is cleared in 15 rounds

Cool – Boundary of Jealousy – Achieved when stage is cleared in 20 rounds

Envious – Boundary of Jealousy – Achieved when stage is cleared in 23 rounds

Tried to Do the Best

Magic Attk +25 ~ +25

Max MP +300

From the LV 50 patch, this one is a bit of a joke type title. Basically it requires you to die or forfeit certain dungeons. Stats are on par with ‘Almost Won the Lotto’, but it’s an at least level 40 title due to the Sea Dragon Nest achievement. The achievements are hidden, so they don’t appear in your Achievement Window until you have completed them somehow.

I recommend un-equipping and putting your equipments in storage first so that 1) you can die faster, 2) save on repair fees.

Controlling – Lv.5~6 Catacombs – Hidden Mission. You have to die in Catacombs dungeon. (According to maikophoenix, you don’t have to die to the Minotaur boss. Just get killed inside will do.)

Wants to get better at controlling – Lv.20~21 Death Basin – Die in the dungeon (*confirmed on 7th Nov 2012: die in Master mode, dying in Abyss mode doesn’t give this title)

Fugitive – Cerberus Nest – Achieved by forfeiting the stage (possibly requires dying before pressing F12 to forfeit).

Incomplete – Manticore Nest – Achieved by forfeiting the stage (possibly requires dying before pressing F12 to forfeit).

Bubbling Bubbles – Manticore Nest Hell Mode – Die in the dungeon.

Gone Nuts – Sea Dragon Nest – Killed by the spitflowers in the poison island stage of Stage 2.

Dejected

Under page 9 ‘Dignity of the Nest Title 1’

Description: I hear the brave warriors will leave a title behind, these titles are the evidence proving that they conquered the nests!

STR +45
AGI +45
INT +40
VIT +35
Attk Power +60 ~ +60
Magic Attk +60 ~ +60
Final Damage +10

From the LV 50 patch, this title has to do with nest achievements, and again, because of the Sea Dragon Nest achievement, it’s an at least level 40 title. But it is better than the titles above. The title requirements are hidden and shows as ‘?????’ on the Collection Book until you get the titles somehow.

These are pretty simple, so I won’t describe much. I am not sure if it is required to last hit Cerberus Kakari. From what I read on the forums, it is not necessary to land the last hit on Serpentra to get Guardian.

Lord of Madness – Cerberus Nest – Defeat Cerberus Kakari

Overlord – Manticore Nest – Clear all Manticore Nest achievements

Endless Challenge – Cerberus Nest Hell Mode – Clear with none of the four dying.

Beautiful – Manticore Nest Hell Mode – Clear with none of the four dying.

One who governs the light – Apocalypse Nest – Clear all Apocalypse Nest achievements

Cow Herding Master – Minotaur’s Nest – Clear all Minotaur’s Nest achievements

Judge – Apocalypse Nest Hell Mode – Defeat Judge Apocalypse

Guardian – Sea Dragon Nest – Defeat Sea Dragon Serpentra

Stubborn

Under page 10 ‘Find hidden titles!’

Description: Hunt for those hidden titles which are related to monsters, there are the infamous hounds from the nests? Ogre Kim?

STR +25
AGI +25
INT +23
VIT +20
Attk Power +40 ~ +40
Magic Attk +40 ~ +40
Final Damage +5

From the LV 50 patch, it has the same stats as One-Man Army Sergeant, but this is THE joke title. All the achievements are Hidden Missions, the achievements don’t appear in your Achievement Window until you have completed them somehow. The title requirements are hidden as well and shows as ‘?????’ on the Collection Book until you get the titles somehow.

This title is not difficult to get, in fact you can get it before you go to Saint Haven. But it is quite tedious, because some monsters only appear when you or your party member has the quest. Also just in case, make sure the ones doing the killing are not the special monsters with orange names.

I extremely recommend un-equipping and putting your equipments in storage first so that 1) you can die faster, 2) save on repair fees, 3) not killing the monsters by mistake.

Hound Victim – Die by Hound’s hand in Raiders’ Den. (Quite easy because there are two groups of hounds that you can let harass your character without other monsters around.)

Stone Victim – Die by Goblin Slinger’s hand in Forest Sanctuary. (The little blue goblins who throw rocks are the ones to look for, and they don’t aim very well. Running into the stones they throw can quicken things up. Reducing your HP beforehand is adviced.)

Ball Troll – Die by Troll’s hand in Raiders Ambush Point. (They are the monsters that roll around and will appear later in the second map.)

Afraid of Cattles – Die by Umnod’s hand in Sleeper’s Temple. (Get killed by the final boss.)

Defeated by Orc Gim – Die by Orc Gim’s hand in Prayer’s Resting Place.

Requires side-quest: [Lv.21] Orc Gim’s Challenge I, which you get from NPC Master Warrior Chandler and is asked to go to Prayers’ Resting Place. If you don’t have this quest, you can party up with somebody who has. If he appears in a cutscene then you are set to go. It may take a while, since he is a huge coward.

Rocking Tread – Die by Ogre’s hand in Road of No Return. (Get killed by the final boss.)

Gobbs Beater – If you kill Gobbs.

Requires side-quest: [Lv.8] Grandpa Goblin’s Complains V, and while the achievement and quest ask you to look for Gosik/Gosuk/Gobbs, the goblin that actually appears in the Ancient Temple Excavation Site dungeon is ‘Goblee’. If you don’t have this quest (very likely to happen, as it’s a Prairie Town only quest that Warriors and Archers get), you can party up with somebody who has.

Goblee will be surrounded by hostile goblins, which you should avoid killing because if they are all dead before Goblee dies, Goblee becomes your ally and cannot be killed. As long as one of your party member manages to kill Goblee, your whole party will get the title.

Killed by Hound again – Die by Armored Hound’s hand in Sanctuary Core.

Master of Collecting

Under page 11 ‘Funny Titles’

Description: This is beyond our imagination! An interesting title! Note: We will not be responsible if you fall off your chair laughing while collecting the title.

Attk Power +25 ~ +25
Magic Attk +23 ~ +23
Max HP +500
Max MP +300

From the LV 50 patch, its stats aren’t as good as the other new titles and some of the required achievements are a bit problematic to get. Like the achievement for ‘F4’ basically is a harder version of ‘Leadership of Society’ collection title, and getting 500 combos for some classes takes some time to achieve too.

Abyss Dungeon achievements must be unlocked in order to obtain some of the titles, and I have listed them with the [Abyss] prefix.

Like previous titles, Abyss Dungeon achievements (refer to the picture, where the red box is) must be unlocked in order to obtain some of the titles, and I have listed them with the [Abyss] prefix.

*NOTE* Heraldry Scholar Stas gives a new Abyss related quest chain available at level 39 called ‘Spread of Abyss I’. Complete it to get ‘Spread of Abyss II’ which unlocks the rest of the level 39 Abyss dungeons. Now, all level 39 Abyss Dungeons achievements should be unlocked.

*NOTE* From 8th October 2013 onwards, to unlock Abyss Dungeon achievements, simply go to the map connected to the entrance portal of the dungeon. For example, go to “Lower Ridge” to unlock the achievements for “Prayer’s Resting Place”. Since we have to head for the dungeon to complete the achievements in the first place, this requires no extra effort.

Controlling – Lv.5~6 Catacombs – Hidden Mission. You have to die in Catacombs dungeon. (According to maikophoenix, you don’t have to die to the Minotaur boss. Just get killed inside will do.)

Supreme Controller – Get 500 combos before clearing the dungeon (this title’s achievement will not appear in your Achievement window until you have completed the achievement requiring 300 combos.)

Carried Surplus – Clear the stage without attacking (Any dungeons, just don’t do any damage)

It’s the lag! – Weekly Achievement, Achieved by getting killed 5 times on difficulty Abyss. (it seems Nests count too, a friend got it when dying in SDN)

Idiot – [Abyss] Dark Overlord’s Tower – Clear with none of the four dying.

F4Lv.39 Abyss Dungeon – Complete all the Clear Lv.39 Abyss in a party of four with no deaths achievements.

Anyone can do it – Minotaur’s Nest – Clear with none of the four dying.

Ultimate

Under page 12 ‘Dragon Nest Hero Chronicles’

Description: A title that symbolises the resilience of warriors, legends decreed that one who obtains this title can save the world.

STR +50
AGI +50
INT +45
VIT +40
Attk Power +65 ~ +65
Magic Attk +65 ~ +65
Final Damage +15

From the LV 50 patch, you are now looking at THE Ultimate title. Just look at the requirements and you know how many things you have to do to get it. It is the best collection title at the moment but not the best title in Dragon Nest as some of the higher/harder Nests gives very good titles too.

The title requirements are hidden and shows as ‘?????’ on the Collection Book until you get the titles somehow.

Welcome the Lord of Phantoms – Hatred Pirandello – (new version) Achieved when stage is cleared in 20 rounds. (Those who cleared the old 36 rounds Hatred Pirandello will not need to get it again, this achievement got updated for the new Hatred dark lair).
(old version) Achieved when stage is cleared in 35 rounds.

Dragon’s Descendant – Sea Dragon Nest – Clear all Sea Dragon Nest achievements. (Verified, many many thanks to Anna88)

Leadership of Society – Collection Book title page 4 (click here)

Speed Terminator – Collection Book title page 7 (click here)

One-Man Army Sergeant – Collection Book title page 8 (click here)

Stubborn – Collection Book title page 10 (see above, or click here)

Endnote

Again, I made this guide mostly by referring to the content in-game and when all else fails, I checked with the information on the Internet.

Credits goes to the following sources, and many thanks to my friends who helped me verify some of the titles that I couldn’t check with my own characters.

  1. Hi. I was able to get the “Controlling” title by getting killed before I reached the Minotaur boss. I’m just not sure if a specific enemy is supposed to have killed me before I get the title. Many thanks for your guide. 😀

Ahh, so just dying in the dungeon is required? Thanks for the information!
