Posted a bit late for last week’s FFXIV.SS, because last week was a bit of a chaos for me.

*Update on 1 Aug 2020:
I have actually stopped playing FFBE: WOTV a while back, before the Global version was released. I do not intend to edit the guide for the Global version nor update it to include newer things, but I think I’ll at least get the images up fully within the next few weeks.
This post is a quick reference mostly for myself because I struggle to remember where to get the different types of materials.
Names of the materials are kinda directly translated, I don’t know what their actual English names are or what other guides/wikis are using.
If you’re looking for an English guide, there’s this one:

*deep breath* Alright, here goes.
FFXIV.SS is short for “FFXIV Screenshots” and it’s a mini personal project that I just started.
I noticed that I have been taking a lot of screenshots but not sharing them much. Partly I wasn’t sure which platform I wanted to share them to, consistently. Then I remembered, I could just post them here and post links to social media instead. 😀
So basically, I’ll try to share at least one screenshot a week that is taken in FFXIV. That’s it. I don’t want to set any requirements or limitations, just 1 screenshot a week. It can be a screenshot taken years ago or a minute ago, can be edited for dramatic effect or completely unedited, can be a series of screenshots or just a single one, anything goes. No scheduled date or time. I can share more than once a week if I feel like it too.
These posts will be tagged with FFXIV.SS. I’ll see if I can make a gallery out of them somehow but that’s for later down the future.
Contains major spoiler for FFXIV Shadowbringers Lv79 plot, expand to read at your own risk.
Took this screenshot during my playthrough of ‘Ori and the Blind Forest (Definitive Edition)’ around 2 to 3 weeks ago and I’m so in love with how beautiful this game is. If only, for this screenshot, I positioned the character a step more to the right so that everything is perfectly lined up… oh well.
On another note, I’ll start posting more, starting next week. These past few months I’ve been active on Twitch, streaming myself playing various games (hey, check out my channel if you haven’t). After finishing each game, I have so much thoughts I want to put down, so I figure I’ll start doing that.
I was so super excited when the VR version of Zone of the Enders : The 2nd Runner was announced. The PS2 version of this game gave me some of my fondest gaming memories and I feel like it spoiled me for mecha action games (granted, I’m pretty bad at most of them).
And now there’s a release date! And it’s this year September!! Just 4 months away! Check out the details at the official site! And look at the new trailer!
With this game, Neko Atsume VRÂ (releasing at the end of this month!) and a few other interesting VR games such as Moss on my radar, the urge to get a Playstation VR or the Steam/PC equivalent is getting so much stronger.
More than a year ago, I started playing Flight Rising, a pet raising game site focused mainly on dragons and from friends that I made there, I discovered a Kickstarter for a game called Dappervolk. It has the exact kind of storybook-like art-style that I’m instantly attracted to. In fact, it actually reminds me a bit of Legend of Mana.
So when the Closed Beta Testing started a while ago, I had to give it a try, even though everything except account ID and name will be wiped.
Here is a quick introduction to the game. My first impressions will be in another post on its own since this one has grown a little long.

Monster Hunter World is currently having its first seasonal event, the Spring Blossom Festival, from 6th April to 19th April 2018, so there’s a bunch of new events. What’s more, many past event quests have made their return for this duration.
With the amount of quest items to collect and craft, I had some trouble keeping track of what’s for what and how many more. To help with that, I whipped up a quick item tracker on Google Sheet and decided to share it.
Just hop over, make a copy of the Google Sheet and you’ll have your own copy of the tracker sheet.
I’ve also included an “Updates” tab so if I add new event items in my own copy in the future, those will show up automatically without messing things up in the Tracker tab.
Nifty eh? 😀 Hope it’s useful.
By the way, if you need more information about the Spring Blossom Festivals or the event quests, you can check out these two places:

Have a fruitful Spring Blossom Festival~!

Although the Day 1 “Crown Update” added the ability to share the Snapshots that Prompto took to our social media, there’s no way I’m going to share all 150 (and counting) snapshots to Facebook in one-go.
So when I was going between actually doing that and taking screenshots of the snapshots, I realized that if you do the following, you can save a copy of a snapshot to Capture Gallery without it going to your Social Media:
- Navigate to the snapshot you want to save
- Press the “Share” button
- Select “Yes” for the confirmation of “Share this photo?”
- Wait for the PS4’s Share Screenshot interface appear (just appear, you don’t have to wait for it to finish loading)
- Press the “Back” button
- That’s it! There should be a copy of the snapshot in your Capture Gallery’s FFXV folder
I’ve done this to save all the snapshots to PS4 and then delete them from the ingame album so I have more space for Prompto’s better photos (he takes a lot of crappy ones). I also did this to save snapshots before I load a save, because there are some photos that won’t be taken even if you run the exact same thing.
Remember to check your Capture Gallery to make sure you have the photo there before deleting the ingame one! Happy photographing!
New cats have been released, so I’m popping in to check on the kitties again. After the sweet confectionery theme, it’s cooling summer time! And it’s featuring some really cute new goodies, check out that penguin cushion! And that dinosaur slide! Can’t wait to see what the cats do with them. :3
Spotted this Facebook post on my wall and I’m so super envious of the fans living in Hong Kong now!
Look at those faces in 3D smiling at us~~ So cuuuute!!
Apparently it’s the second time a limited-time Pop-Up store for Neko Atsume has opened there. The first time was in February, and this time it’s until the end of August. Those who are interested and living in the area, do head over to the official Facebook page for more details.
I really hope they come to Singapore one day!
