Busy peasy beesy, and happy holidays!

I think the lack of updates is quite noticeable. Unlike what I previously said, it wasn’t because of NaNoWriMo. There was a change in my work situation and I became like busier starting from mid-November, and then after that I took part in the CBT of a new online game (新仙剑 Online) and a major project sucked all my time away. Sometimes I barely even remember to watch K. My NaNo… let’s not talk about that. ._.

Good news, I have more stability in my life now. Bad news, whenever there’s a big project at my work, I don’t have much time for myself, much less blogging. Well, not that I blog often anyway…

I’m looking forward to the holidays because of the amount of days I don’t have to work (hurray!), so a very happy holidays (merry christmas, happy yuletide, etc) to everyone!

PS. I’m gonna go dig out the snowing plugin and activate it for 2 weeks or so. Sorry if it causes the pages to lag. >.<

K anime, 5th Episode Impression

I’m typing this as I rewatch this episode during the marathon now.

K anime, 4th Episode Impression

Argh, late again because of mood issues. I managed to watch the Live simulcast and another repeat and the marathon today, oh yeaaaah~

This episode’s focus is on Kuroh and Yashiro’s plot progression, with more indepth look into the school life background that Yashiro has. And just a wee bit on Scepter-4 and Homura that pulls them towards the Yashiro’s plotline.

Tales of the World: Dice Adventure

I’m hopelessly addicted to this game right now, haha. Decided to try it because the pre-order bonus in my copy of Tales of Xillia 2 gives a SR rank Ludger for this game. Considering so many of the Tales social games are unavailable to me, of course I leaped at the chance to play this one.

Tales of the World: Dice Adventure is a web-based social game that’s kinda like monopoly and kinda like snakes & ladders, where you get to collect characters from the many Tales series to form parties and do quests and stuff.

It’s sadly only in Japanese. Luckily my basics are still pretty alright.

The best part about it is:

  1. Collecting Tales characters. <3
  2. You can join or start a quest room and leave it there to auto play for you if you don’t have the time to sit there and toss the dice. No auto using of recovery items though, sadly.
  3. I can play on my smartphone just by accessing the website on it. It has a web interface that is simpler and faster than the desktop’s flash one. But you can’t look at the cute characters doing their short chat skits and battles.
  4. I can start a Quest, then go and do Dice Tower while the quest is in progress. Yay for multi-tasking!

PS. Because TotW: Dice Adventure is linked to the Banafes! Town (my character/avatar is the Banafest! Town avatar), I also started playing that. *facepalms*

NaNoWriMo 2012

Erm yeah. I’m taking part this year so except for the weekly K impression posts, I probably won’t be writing many blog posts. Unless there’s something for Dragon Nest SEA that I really want to blog about.

I’ll still reply to comments. =D

K anime, 3rd Episode Impression

Late with this because I was sick, and was not very motivated to do much other than sleep and rest. I’ll try to write what I remember, which is surprisingly quite a lot.

This episode has more explanations, but as usual it brings about more mysteries. This episode also has quite a bit of BL fanservice (unless it’s the subber who deliberately twist it that way, but I doubt it) so the inner fangirl in me is happy.

#RIPAmanda – Amanda Todd

#RIPAmanda – Amanda Todd

Posting again, because this is an issue that really touches me.

I cannot help but think… if I was a less cautious person… if I was careless for just a few minutes… had the internet been as deeply-connected in people’s life when I was in Secondary School… could something stupid and small that I do turn out to be the worse nightmare ever?

My heart broke for this beautiful girl who got what she didn’t deserve. She made mistakes, but who doesn’t? Her mistakes were never allowed to be forgotten. Can you imagine that, not being able to get away from it after so long? I would have taken my life a lot earlier than her, I am not that strong.

Stop bullying. It’s in human’s nature to be amused or pleasure (yes, I used this word intentionally) by bad things happening to others, but we have hearts and emotions and feelings. We have a working brain that should know what’s right and what’s wrong. We know what hurts us. We have the power to stop, think, feel before we act. We have the power to tell people to stop.

Nobody deserves that. Nobody deserves to have their life ruined because of a mistake, or how different(UNIQUE) they are.

And news flash, nobody is immune from bullying. I can do it to you and make your life utter hell, just for my amusement. I am capable of that, and you will be surprised what a wonderful tool the Internet is for destruction. It is not difficult at all, all I need is some personal information of your that I can easily get.

I choose not to.

Share this, sign this, so we can tell people to choose not to.

K anime, 2nd Episode Impression

Managed to catch the simulcast! Rushed home for it but still missed the first 5 minutes, so I woke up approx. 5 hours later to watch the repeat at 6.30am.

I will be keeping my little review spoiler-free, so I won’t be revealing much plot, just my impressions.

Episode 1, first impression of K

I haven’t been this hyped over an anime for a long while. There should be no surprise that this anime ‘K’ that I’m crazy about has a whole bunch of bishounens and voiced by several A-List seiyuus (Ono Daisuke, Takahiro Sakurai, Tomokaze Sugita, etc).

I missed the Live simulcast with Japan on Animax Asia but there are a lot of repeat telecast and I caught the 6.30am one just now. I have no doubts I will be trying to watch the same episode again a few times.

Some updates

Aside from finally posting the slightly more detailed guide for the collection titles introduced in the Dragon Nest level 50 patch, I also made some changes to the blog’s design itself. Check out the four new buttons at the top right of the blog!

While I’m still sort of busy with other stuff (SDN raids being one of them), I am thinking of posting more often to my blog. Maybe some reviews of those programs and apps that I find very useful? And book and manga reviews? Although my recent reads are chinese novels and my manga collection is in Chinese, haha.

In any case, I hope to share more of my thoughts instead of hiding them, be they in bite-size bits or the walls of text I’m quite good at.

Oh, NaNoWriMo is approaching in a month’s time! I’m taking part this year, hope I can finally become a winner!

DN SEA, Collection Titles Guide (part 3), Lv 50 Patch

Some time in the past, if my fuzzy memory is correct, I promised to do a guide for any new Collection Titles in Dragon Nest SEA, especially for that particular one requiring hidden achievement. Now that they have arrived with the Level 50 patch, it’s time for me to do just that.

Sorry for the long delay, the past month has been a very busy one for me.

For quick reference, the Masterlist is good. This guide is to make it easier to search the titles because the Masterlist has issues with browser’s find function. I have also added more little tips and observations into this guide, hope they will be of more help.
